Launched in March 2024 in Riyadh as a joint initiative of Kazakhstan's Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry and the Tumar Venture Fund, Al-Farabi Innovation Hub is licensed to run accelerators bridging startups from Kazakhstan, the Caucasus, and Central Asia into the Saudi/MENA market; its Al-Farabi ScaleUp program, run with Astana Hub and Plug and Play Saudi, brings 15 startups per cohort to Riyadh for investor and corporate connections.
