About the enabler
Athar Accelerator is a pre-seed accelerator supporting high-potential founders from underserved communities. Through our sector-agnostic technology and climate innovation tracks, we help early-stage startups validate their products, build traction, and access capital. Across 12 cohorts, we have graduated more than 150 startups—90% based outside Cairo and 40% women-led.
We believe talent is distributed equally, but opportunity is not. From our base in Upper Egypt, we combine local reach with hands-on support, grants, market access, and investor connections—helping ambitious founders build companies that can scale across Egypt, MENA, and beyond.
