🚀 Ideas are the easy part. Making them grow is the work — and it's the work I love.
💡 It started with an idea called Hajj Wallet. I took it into the largest software development competition in the world — 700+ teams from 50+ countries — and placed 2nd. The competition entered the Guinness World Records. But the idea didn't stop at the prize: I turned it into a real company, raised funding, and built cross-border remittance with banking partners. We closed it during Covid — and I took away a lesson money can't buy.
🏦 I then led, as CTO, the launch of a Buy Now Pay Later product for an Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank company: idea to market in 12 months, with a core banking system, a credit-authority-compliant loan origination platform, digital KYC, and point-of-sale integration across Egypt.
📈 Before that I built a software company to 25+ people and 80+ clients across the USA, the Gulf and Egypt, and raised its engineering practice to CMMI standards with Egypt's Ministry of Communications and IT — until it was acquired.
🏛️ In Riyadh, as part of the Experts Vision Consultancy team — the main partner on the Nusuk Card project, recognized by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah — I contributed over consecutive years to improving the pilgrim experience — alongside work with 20+ government entities.
🧭 Across the last decade I have founded 10+ companies and worked on 100+ projects, with startups, mid-size firms and large institutions.
⚡ Today I am Co-Founder and CEO of SolvFast — an AI-powered platform that brings scattered business tools into one connected system, lowering operating cost and speeding up decisions. I am also an investor and co-founder in Hotels Wave (travel tech) and Nuwairah (health tech).
🎓 I am a PhD researcher in Social Computing, working on a question I believe matters: how do we turn open government data from a silent archive into measurable value, using AI agents?
🎙️ I host The Innovator's Journey — a ten-station podcast with the Saudi Innovation Club — and write a monthly Article for FollowICT.
