About the founder
I am Ahmed Hossam, an industrial professional, academic researcher, and entrepreneur based in Cairo, Egypt. My work bridges the gap between advanced manufacturing operations and supply chain management.
Professionally, I work in our family business, specializing in the importation and distribution of heavy industrial machinery and welding equipment. In this role, I handle technical specifications, procurement, and international trade operations. To hone my expertise, I have completed specialized hands-on technical and operational training across several countries, including Germany, France, Finland, and Turkey.
On the academic front, I am pursuing my PhD in the Department of Supply Chain at Cairo University. My doctoral research focuses on Lean Supply Chain Management, dynamic capabilities, Business Model Innovation, and the integration of Industry 4.0 technologies to enhance organizational resilience in uncertain environments.
With a strong foundation in mechanical systems, CAD software, and industrial metalworking machinery, I combine practical, hands-on engineering experience with rigorous academic research to drive innovation in the industrial sector.
