Sherif Yehya is a development Engineer, entrepreneur, and founder of Materion X, an early-stage deep-tech startup concept focused on advancing materials engineering and intelligent manufacturing. He holds a PhD in Energy Engineering and specializes in computational modeling, process optimization, advanced manufacturing, and sustainable industrial technologies. His research has centered on the design and techno-economic evaluation of next-generation energy-intensive industrial processes, resulting in multiple peer-reviewed scientific publications.
Driven by a passion for scientific innovation and engineering excellence, Sherif founded Materion X with the vision of bridging the gap between research and industry. He aims to develop enabling technologies in advanced materials, nanotechnology, surface engineering, and intelligent manufacturing that accelerate industrial innovation and support the transition toward more sustainable, high-performance manufacturing and sustainable water desalination and energy generation.
