Ahmed Elsherbeeny
Lead Solutions Architect Specialist, GenAI & ML (MENAT) at Amazon Web Services
About the mentor
Ahmed Elsherbeeny is a GenAI and Agentic AI leader with 20+ years of experience across Canada and the Gulf, including Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Kuwait. After nearly 10 years in Canada, including leadership roles at Microsoft, Deloitte, and GE, he returned to the region and now works at AWS across MENAT.
Across MENAT, Ahmed works with C-suite executives, large enterprises, ISVs, startups, SMBs, technology leaders, and engineering teams to turn GenAI and Agentic AI ideas into practical, secure, scalable, production-ready products and systems. His focus spans AI strategy, product design, architecture, enterprise adoption, governance, evaluation, observability, security, and production readiness.
Ahmed brings lessons from global technology and consulting environments to help organizations avoid over-engineering, prioritize the right AI use cases, make better architecture decisions, and move faster from idea or MVP to production and scale.
He particularly enjoys helping teams answer the difficult questions: what should be agentic, what should remain deterministic, how much autonomy an AI system should have, how to design for enterprise scale, and how to create measurable business value from AI.
