About the mentor
I’m a maritime and logistics professional and entrepreneur with over 7 years of hands-on experience across shipping, customs clearance, port operations, marine services, logistics, and business development. I started my career in customs clearance and logistics operations at Sokhna Port, where I gained practical experience in handling shipments, customs procedures, documentation, transportation, and day-to-day port operations. I later moved deeper into the maritime sector, working in marine and ship services and developing a strong understanding of vessel operations and the wider shipping ecosystem. Over the years, I’ve also built and worked on my own businesses within the maritime and logistics industry. This gave me experience beyond operations, including business development, client acquisition, commercial negotiations, pricing, supplier management, and building relationships across the industry. What I bring is a combination of real field experience and an entrepreneurial mindset. I understand the challenges businesses face on the ground, from ports and customs to transportation, shipping, and customer management. I’m particularly interested in building practical, scalable solutions for the logistics and maritime industry, especially where technology can simplify operations, improve efficiency, and create better connections across the supply chain.
