GESR MEK
About the program
GESR MEK is inviting eligible startups to apply for the Egypt Green Entrepreneurship Support Initiative (EcoScale), implemented under the "EU GREEN: EU Support for Growth through Egyptian Environmental Networks" project and powered by GIZ.
The initiative aims to support early-stage green startups and SMEs in the fields of circular economy, climate action, and waste management, in line with Egypt’s sustainability priorities and national development goals.
Target startups should have 1–3 years of operation and may benefit from tailored support, including one-on-one mentorship, specialized workshops, business development support, and investment-readiness services. Priority will be given to startups based in or operating in Asyut, Qena, and Luxor.
