Startup Gate is an online platform by GrowthLabs, dedicated to connecting and supporting Egypt’s entrepreneurial ecosystem through a centralized digital hub.
By bringing together startups, mentors, investors, venture capitals (VCs), accelerators, incubators, and service providers, Startup Gate enables meaningful connections that fosters innovation, collaboration, and growth.
As founders who spent years immersed in Egypt’s entrepreneurship and innovation scene, Emmy Tawfik and Sarah Khalifa saw the same challenge repeating itself: incredible ideas and passionate founders struggling to find visibility, the right connections, and real growth opportunities. The ecosystem was thriving, yet fragmented. Information was scattered, collaborations were missed, and too many promising startups were left unseen.
We knew something had to change. Drawing on our combined experience, we decided to build Startup Gate, a unified platform where all the ecosystem players could be listed to connect.
