About the startup
BDS is an Operational Excellence company helping industrial, energy and FMCG manufacturers across Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the UAE build safer, leaner and more productive factories.
Most factories have to buy OpEx from fragmented sources: consultants who only advise, product companies who only ship, software vendors who only sell licenses, and local fabricators who don’t understand Lean. BDS brings all of it under one roof:
• Physical OpEx Products & Engineering: 1,000+ active SKUs in safety signage, floor marking, shadow boards, visual boards, LOTO, Andon and hygiene tools, plus custom-engineered solutions (Karakuri systems, trolleys, industrial furniture, storage) and plastic injection molding. • Advisory, Training & Implementation: Lean, 5S, Kaizen, TPM, Six Sigma, SMED and VSM consulting, certification programs, and full on-site installation. • Digital OpEx Solutions (in development): a Digital 5S Audit Platform, Connected Visual Factory Boards, Smart Shadow Boards, an AI Kaizen Coach and Power BI performance dashboards.
Since 2010 BDS has delivered projects for organizations including Hitachi Energy, Air Liquide, Saint-Gobain, Bosch, L’Oréal and Henkel. BDS is a registered consulting office with Egypt’s Industrial Modernization Center and sells on Amazon and Noon (EG/SA/AE) and at bds-co.org.
