About the startup
DIME (Digital Medical Ecosystem) is an Egypt-based healthtech company building core digital infrastructure for healthcare providers. We focus on creating a unified, longitudinal medical record that helps doctors make better clinical decisions while reducing administrative burden.\r\nAt the core of DIME is a doctor-first EMR/EHR platform designed around real clinical workflows, not billing or paperwork. On top of this foundation, we are building Icura, a clinical decision support layer that analyzes longitudinal patient data to surface early risk signals, care insights, and follow-up suggestions—supporting doctors without replacing clinical judgment.\r\nDIME also enables research-grade real-world evidence through structured, high-quality clinical data, allowing hospitals, universities, and research institutions to run cohort studies and outcomes research without disrupting care delivery. Our interoperability layer allows DIME to integrate with existing hospital systems and third-party tools, rather than competing with them.\r\nWe are currently piloting with university hospitals and specialty clinics, starting in internal medicine and immunology, with a roadmap to expand across additional specialties and hospital systems. Our long-term vision is to become a trusted clinical data backbone for healthcare systems in Egypt and similar markets, supporting better care, earlier intervention, and system-level decision-making.
