About the startup
Luggy is a trust-first, peer-to-peer luggage allowance platform for travelers on the same flight. It connects passengers who have unused baggage allowance with travelers carrying extra luggage, helping both avoid excessive airline fees through safe, in-person handovers at the airport.\r\n\r\nOur mission is to reduce the hidden cost of mobility for students, workers, expats, and families by unlocking unused baggage capacity in a safe, human-centered way. Luggy is designed around trust and real behavior—not logistics or shipping—treating travelers as people helping people, not couriers.\r\n\r\nWhat makes Luggy unique is its strict same-flight model and trust workflow: in-person handover at the airport, sealed luggage, ID and boarding-pass verification, agreed meeting points, and password confirmation at destination. We are currently in a deep validation stage, focusing on real pilot matches and learning from trust friction before scaling or building heavy technology.
