About the startup
Photon Smart researches, designs, and manufactures smart home solutions and connected appliances in Egypt. Our mission is to deliver secure, intuitive, and future-proof automation across homes and buildings through an interoperable ecosystem.\r\n\r\nWe are among the first companies worldwide to develop Matter-compatible smart home appliances—fully integrated with Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Samsung SmartThings, and the Matter standard. We’re pioneering the introduction of Matter appliances in Egypt and building for international expansion.\r\n\r\nOur product line includes smart home appliances developed in partnership with one of the largest home appliance manufacturers in Egypt, as well as smart lighting, sensors, controllers/relays, automated curtains/blinds, and energy management systems—providing a complete platform for residences, hotels, offices, and large developments.\r\n\r\nWhat makes us unique is our combination of open-standards interoperability (Matter-first), robust security, scalable cloud infrastructure, and strong local manufacturing partnerships.
