About the startup
Scootify Micromobility is an Egyptian technology startup building shared electric mobility solutions for short-distance urban transportation.
We operate a shared electric scooter service in Cairo through a fully digital platform that enables users to locate, unlock, ride and pay for scooters directly from their smartphones.
Beyond operating the mobility service, Scootify is building its own technology stack across backend systems, mobile applications, IoT connectivity, fleet management and operational tools. Our long-term strategy is to reduce dependency on third-party technology, improve fleet reliability and develop a scalable platform tailored to the needs of emerging markets.
Our goal is to make short-distance transportation more convenient, affordable and sustainable while building the technology infrastructure needed to scale shared micromobility across Egypt and other markets.
