The platform addresses three critical barriers to solar adoption: lack of awareness, high upfront costs, and difficulty accessing trusted vendors and engineers.\r\nThrough partnerships with local and international banks, SolarSector provides flexible installment plans of up to seven years with 5% or zero interest, allowing low-income households and small farmers to adopt solar energy without financial strain. The platform integrates 12+ payment options to ensure inclusivity and nationwide accessibility.\r\nSolarSector is also built for non-technical users. Our AI-powered advisory bot (Ra’a AI) guides customers step by step from identifying their energy needs to choosing the right system and estimating costs. For maintenance, our AI-based fault detection system allows users to upload photos of their solar stations, instantly diagnosing the problem and suggesting solutions. With a database of nearly 950 faults stored in the cloud, this tool reduces repair costs by up to 40%, making solar systems easier to sustain.\r\nIn just over one year, SolarSector has reached more than 1,200 users, facilitated the installation of 13.2 MW of solar capacity, and provided clean electricity to 300 low-income families who previously had no access to power. These efforts have already helped avoid more than 6,500 tons of CO₂ emissions annually. Additionally, the platform has onboarded 11 certified vendors and 20 engineers, with 42 more requesting to join, creating new green job opportunities.
