We are dedicated to revolutionizing sustainable food production through the commercialization of Sandponics. Built upon foundational open-source agricultural science pioneered by Dr. Mark R. McMurtry and the North Carolina State University research group, SPC has developed advanced proprietary operational protocols that integrate fertilizing, climate management, and pest prevention into high-efficiency, sustainable farming infrastructure built to last. Agriculture across arid and water-stressed regions faces an unprecedented crisis: accelerating climate change, severe water scarcity, soil degradation, and high reliance on synthetic chemical inputs. Traditional farming methods consume vast quantities of precious water while depleting local soil ecosystems. SPC addresses this challenge head-on by delivering a scalable, resource-efficient alternative that safeguards food security, conserves vital natural resources, and eliminates chemical runoff. At the heart of our systems is sand biofiltration—a natural biology-driven mechanism that achieves up to 95% water savings compared to traditional farming, operating entirely without synthetic fertilizers. Our multi-layer cultivation design maximizes spatial and ecological efficiency, enabling three layers of crops—including fruit trees, herbs, and root vegetables—to be grown and harvested within the exact same square meter of surface and depth. SPC drives impact across the value chain using a centralized hub-and-spoke model: The Sandponic Collective. Through this framework, we empower partner farms by providing full technical supervision, crop planning, post-harvest sorting, and packaging services. Under our direct-to-retail brand label Crops, we manage B2B retail distribution and brand marketing for premium, organically fertilized produce—supplying fresh items such as kale varieties, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, and culinary herbs directly to leading retail partners like Gourmet Egypt. Additionally, we extend our technology into community and educational spaces through turnkey installations and hands-on workshops.
