About the startup
ThinkTree is an ed-tech startup that uses chess as a tool to develop kids' minds and characters.\r\nWe deliver a structured, gamified chess curriculum for kids aged 6–18, blending live coaching, technology, and psychology to nurture strategic thinking, focus, patience, and decision-making skills.\r\n\r\nOur programs are offered online through interactive Zoom sessions led by trained coaches and guided by a 13-level curriculum (from Foundations → Tactics → Endgames). Each level lasts around 8 sessions, and children receive personalized reports that track cognitive growth, focus, and learning style — not just chess skills.\r\n\r\n\r\nOur Mission\r\nTo grow kids' minds and characters through playful, intelligent learning experiences using chess as the bridge between fun and critical thinking.\r\n\r\n1. Character-Building Through Chess\r\nWe go beyond “teaching moves” — we develop focus, discipline, creativity, and resilience through a curriculum co-designed by educators and psychologists.\r\n\r\n2. Personality-Based Learning\r\nEach child’s progress is tailored through a personality framework inspired by MBTI, allowing coaches to adapt teaching style and motivation to how each student learns best.\r\n\r\n3. Tech-Driven Growth\r\nThinkTree integrates platforms like ChessKid, Lichess, and our coming ThinkTree App, with AI-powered progress tracking, gamified achievements, and in-app tournaments.
